Last Saturday a few students & myself spent a lovely afternoon at the Mountains & Rivers Bi-Monthly meeting. After the short meeting and Lunch we gathered together to paint some Memory boxes for charity. Or you could also have chosen to paint any UFO paintings that you have been meaning to finish.
These meetings are with teachers and students alike who get together to meet new friends with similar interests for sharing and friendship. Most meetings you can choose to paint the set project offered, for a minimal price, or just enjoy each others company. They also have lucky door prizes and Raffles. A lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

The society costs just $30 a year to join, includes reduced costs for workshops at the meetings & Newsletters.
Meetings are held Bi-monthly, at 12 noon, at CWA Rooms, Tindale Street, Penrith.
The next meeting is our AGM on the 12th July.
