Friendship group at the Fairfield Musuem

These are a few students that form part of our little friendship group on Thursday mornings, all busy working away.

We have been painting at the Fairfield Musuem for nearly twelve months now. It is such a lovely setting since the "art shed" was transformed, turning a cold and drafty barn into a cosy area specialy adapted for art classes and small groups.

The many visitors to the Musuem stop for a chat before looking around the open village area and exabitions on display. We have been made very welcome by the staff and volunteers of the musuem that it has become a second home. it is especialy beautiful at this time of year with all the clivier plants out in full bloom, these lovely orange flowers realy brighten up the courtyard under the trees.

Happy Painting, Lyn yeadon.
