Flutterbye

Very easy Flutterbye!
(Flutterbye painting © 2008 lyn yeadon)
Take two painting canvas boards, square size to suit your needs.
Tape a large stencil of your choice to the side of one canvas, using a pallet knife pick up some Jo Sonja texture paste and fill in the stencil smoothly. gently lift off the stencil, set aside the canvas, make sure there is no texture paste on the under side of the stencil and repeat on the second canvas. Set aside to dry overnight.
wash the stencil in warm soapy water.
Using colours of your choice, starting with the lightist, paint a wash of colour over all the canvas. dry well.
Draw on a pattern of your choice, it could be anything, butterflys, faries, or something for the boys. If you can not paint you can even use stickers.
Decorate with Jo Sonja opal dust, and some very fine glitter over the butterfly's wings and some places in the background.
Have fun!

My patterns are painted with the beginner in mind. When I first started painting not many patterns were available, even the ones that were, often it was not easy to understand them.
With this in mind I have kept the details easy to follow, with plenty of detailed worksheets to follow.

Happy Painting!
